[ This post could take place anywhere. There's no defining shot of a background that's instantly defining - just trees, and sky, and Rin. If it weren't for the music - New Bark theme, easily recognizable to anyone who knows their tunes - it would be hard to pin down where she was. Rin herself looks native for a given value of native, too. She's swapped out to the extra set of clothing in her pack - "lass" - and instead of a hitai-ate, there's a plain blue headband. There's also a smile, if a cautious one. These things seem pretty harmless so far, and there doesn't seem to be any benefit from not using it, so. ]

Hi! So, to preface this, let me say I did read the guides given to me at the start of this. [ That's brisk and matter-of-fact more than anything else. And Rin had. She'd done that first thing, because information was key. And she's decided against asking where she is, since...well, she's scanned plenty of those entries already, and apparently the answers are "Johto", "Pokemon", and "multiple worlds", which she's not sure what to do with. ] But what I'm most interested in wasn't really covered there. The warnings about berries were helpful, but...

[ Not really the most complete informational packet, and she'd definitely like more to rely on, if at all possible. It was her job to know this sort of thing, if she was going to be responsible for the pink thing following her around. "This sort of thing" being... ] Does anyone have any tips on what other poisonous substances we might encounter here? Or any pointers on keeping your Pokemon healthy? I do plan to learn what I can from the centers - but I'm a bit between places right now, so it's not really practical.

[ There's a little sigh. ] I am trained in first aid and medicine, and I presume a lot of it will work on them, but I'm not...entirely sure how the different physiologys might change how that works. So - I'm all ears. And thanks in advance.

...And if anyone has any suggestions as to places that might be good to visit, that'd be fine, too. [ Apparently "home" isn't an option, so...some sort of direction might be nice, rather than her current lack of it. ]

[ Except maybe Tsunade, but details, details. ] My main focus for now is to test this theory about the poisons from various types of Pokemon, but you have to be careful when doing that. Not only do you run the risk of getting hurt yourself, but if someone thinks you're intending to use it for a weapon...

[ Cutting herself off: ] I'm sure you've read all about the "laws" here, haven't you? No need for me to repeat them!

My Audino's name? [ Since she confirmed understanding Rin by calling her it a second later, and she hadn't mentioned any other names... ] Konoka. I sort of named her after the place I came from, but not exactly.

[ It seems like a harmless detail to share. ]

It's nice to meet you, too! I have to admit to a certain passion for first aid myself. Like I said, I've been trained in it, so...I have a vested interest. [ Though not by Tsunade, and not for as long as Sakura. :I Jealous. ] I'd love to help you test that in any way, or at least to hear about your results. I'm aware of the dangers of poison, but...I admittedly am probably less well-equipped to deal with them here than at home. I seem to be missing a lot of my supplies.

[ And she nods, easily enough. ] I read everything available to me; it just seemed smart.

Wow, that's a great idea. People come up with all sorts of names for their Pokemon here.

[ Meanwhile, Sakura continues to not name any of her own. ]

Trained in first aid at your age? That's incredible. I was also taught at a young age and it surprises people here. There are so many who come from worlds different than your own that it can leave your head spinning.

Your supplies? Oh, that's because they tend to disappear or maybe just never show up when we do. I arrived with a lot of my weapons and poisons taken from me too.

Apparently...I've only met a few people so far. Some here with me, but a few others - mostly Obito, because I asked.

[ Rin won't press the issue. :T ]

It's not so out of the ordinary for my world. At least, I never thought it was. It might be for other people, I guess.

Ah...well, I can do without, it's just...troubling, I guess. My teammate apparently already got himself beat up, so I should probably go find new ones.

Oh, you know Obito?

[ Suddenly, it clicks in her mind. ] Hey, sorry to ask this, but are you from Konoha? I know that's kind of a weird question to ask a stranger, but um-!!

[ Holding up her hand to ask her to wait, she quickly pulls out her red hitai-ate to show it off. ]

I should have realized it sooner, but this place is strange with bringing in people you may have never heard of before in your entire time or allies from different points of time.

[ She's about to respond to the name question, but...

The hiati-ate is a dead giveaway. Rin immediately goes to pull out her own - standard blue issue - with a sheepish grin. ]

He's my teammate, as it happens. [ Which should probably give Sakura more information on Rin than it shouldn't, given that her being Obito's teammate automatically classes her as the third member of Kakashi's genin team. ]

[ Rin is still very much a mystery to her (thanks sensei for never talking about FEELINGS), but she recognizes the symbol easily enough. ]

You're fortunate to be here with a teammmate. Two out of the four of my assigned squadron are here. [ Someone remembers Sai! ] I'm not sure if you'll run into Sasuke-kun, but there's also Naruto-kun here--he's really friendly and loud.

Yeah, you're sure to meet him. If he gives you too much trouble, let me know? I'll straighten him out.

[ It's okay, Sakura. Kakashi never really did FEELINGS talks even when he was a kid. ]

We're only missing one person.

And I think I'm definitely likely to meet him. That boy is Minato-sensei's son, isn't he? At least, "Naruto" was the name he mentioned to me when we talked. [ And she definitely wants to talk to someone who happens to be her teacher's son, because that's just something you have to see to believe. ]

I don't think I'll have too much trouble - [ "Friendly and loud" seems an apt Obito description, so she has experience ] - but if I have any trouble, you'll be the first person I tell.

Oh, that's right!

[ Sakura's not quite used to that knowledge yet. Her teammate has such amazing parents and she's only getting to know them just as he is; an experience she's grateful to share with him. ]

Yeah, he's his son. I'm sure we'll be meeting each other soon in person then, won't we?

I think so. Obito and Sensei both said they were coming here...and you're Tsunade-sama's student, right? So I expect you're coming here, too.

[ Although her priority is Sasuke > Tsunade > Naruto, so if something happens with him, she'll be falling back on that. ]

It depends on who's traveling where. Sometimes we break up into smaller teams, but for the most part we travel as a big group. Not the safest, but it's convenient. [ And fun. ]

Well, there doesn't seem to be a war here, so...

Though if we had to break up, I think it'd be easy enough to do. We're all used to that, aren't we? And I guess I'd go with what's here from my team...
